Special Needs Judo Union is a non-political, non-profit organisation providing unprecedented quality in education, training and competition for all people involved in inclusive judo

SNJU’s mission is to,

• Help, support and execute projects whose aim it is to include Special Needs Judoka into national Judo federations.
• To grow opportunities for special needs athletes to participate in training and competition
• To enable each athlete to achieve their full potential, regardless of their ability.

SNJU is convinced that this improves the life of people with a disability, their family, their surroundings and by extension, society as a whole.

SNJU’s message towards teachers, trainers, coaches and judoka will be to transcend boundaries of disability, race, gender, religion, national organisations, geographic or political background, in the spirit of Jigoro Kano Sensei’s ideal of Judo: “Perfecting oneself, and benefit the world“.
